Last May 2nd, Burlington Editorial brought a taste of the United Kingdom’s vibrant culture to our school, providing an experience for students from 1st to 4th of ESO. Cristina, the representative from Burlington Editorial, presented an interactive cultural class that not only taught but also amused the students.

The session focused on exploring various aspects of English culture and its global impact. From iconic landmarks like Big Ben and the Tower of London to traditional English customs such as afternoon tea and royal family, students were taken on a virtual journey through the rich tapestry of British heritage.

What made the class truly special was its interactive nature. Rather than a conventional lecture, Cristina incorporated games, quizzes, and multimedia presentations to keep the students engaged and excited throughout the session. Through these interactive activities, students not only absorbed knowledge about the UK but also actively participated, enhancing their learning experience.

One of the highlights of the session was the exploration of English as a global language. Students learned about the widespread influence of the English language across the world. Moreover, Cristina’s dynamic and enthusiastic presentation style made the class both informative and enjoyable. Students found themselves laughing, learning, and even singing along as they discovered fascinating facts about English culture and language.

Overall, the cultural class delivered by Burlington Editorial was a resounding success. It not only broadened the students’ understanding of the UK and English culture but also fostered a sense of curiosity and appreciation for cultural diversity. When the students left the session, they took with them not just knowledge but also great memories of an enjoyable experience.
